Wonder if the announcement for the site of the 2022 WRTC will be made at tonight's award dinner? I guess we'll find out later today? Here's an idea for a future WRTC. Hold it at a location near salt
according to Bernie, W3UR, its Italy. I think that has been the worst kept secret in ham radio. :) _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com ht
There is plenty of salt water by Italy. 73 John AF5CC I think that has been the worst kept secret in ham radio. :) _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@c

Good point. Are there enough rocks, sufficiently dispersed, to have WRTC held at BS7? :) -- Michael Adams | mda@n1en.org The only issue I see with this whole Beach saltwater thing is, If I understand

In my thoughts, I said that there would be separate transmit and receive antenna systems, probably located far enough apart that there would not be any interference. In my suggestion, I proposed thre

Unfortunately, the transmitter power required increases as the square of the number of 'channels'. So the necessary power becomes something a little less than 400kW :-) Neat idea though. 73 Roger V
