HI Guys, I just worked the WPXCW and ended up with 394 Qs on 40m. I just updating my contacts into my master log program.. Here's my problem... With WPX and many other contest, there is no exchange o
Hi Dave, I operated WPX CW as WU4NC which I normally operate from NC, however for WPX CW I was remote in NY. I just signed the ADIF upload to LoTW with an NY station location instead of signing with
Yes, he is responsible. I use W1VE and WR1ST from all the New England states, and when I upload, the log is for a specific location. 73. Gerry W1VE On Fri, Jun 2, 2017 at 10:45 AM Dave Edmonds <dave@
KU1CW would have to set the location correctly when uploading to LOTW. You can upload to LOTW giving whatever location (state, zone, grid) you like. It's also a problem on VHF if you are collecting
Thank you Gerry, Tucker and all the others who know how to use LOTW for contest contacts!!!! Now will everyone else please resubmit a corrected log to LOTW. Dave WN4AFP -- Dave Edmonds PK Ministry We
I cannot believe how careless people are with their LoTW station locations. I've seen lots of bad data come through over the years. It's a simple concept and an easy system to use, but you can't fix
I looked him up on QRZ, since I worked him in the contest as well. His address is listed as Oregon, but his QRZ page says "*Twenty years of the dedicated contesting from the W0 call area (Kansas City
With remote operation, guest operation and just simply not changing your callsign when you move you really won't know. Even with well known ops, they may just decide to hop on RHR, remotehams or a fr

HI Everyone, I just received a note from KU1CW and he has changed his location for WPX contacts to VA... LOTW has been updated. Problem solved!!! Still interesting discussion. 73s Dave WN4AFP *Statio

I plead guilty to not putting mobile logs on LOTW. Its not so much splitting up a log, but for current operations setting up 30+ locations for Ohio, 20+ for Pennsylvania, 18 or so for Florida, plus t
