My experience agrees with Daves. The early ATU firmware didnt always get a good match, but its much better now. Some report, however, running full power into 3:1. I dont understand that, unless they

I have never owned one, but this amp sounds like a much better DXing amp than a contesting amp. Who wants to be tapping things every 20khz? My Ameritron ALS1300 - starts dipping around 1.8:1 and trip

It's a one time thing when you start using the amp -- you train the tuner to your antennas, then when you TX on a frequency it recalls the settings you've trained. And it can remember 3 settings for
