- Just when you think you've heard it all. Only dabbling in the last 10m contest, there was a CX station that I observed 2 or 3 different times only giving the callsign ID every TEN QSOs or so. Other D

- During CQWW CW, the behavior of most of the top-10 single-op DX stations was deplorable, especially during the first 24 hours ! As a single-op, all-band, NON-packet, unassisted participant, it is dow

- Clearly the 3Y0GP example is beyond the realm of reason. N2IC's suggestion of AT LEAST signing once per 3 QSOs, particularly in a contest where 3 QSOs can happen in less than 30 seconds, isn't unreas

- Steve, I think it's not just a "DX" thing. It's operating style. Take a listen to NAQP Phone. "Thanks for the QSO, take care... blah-blah-blah... QRZ?" :-)) However they come back with their calls if

- All well and good on the suggestions, but I know of at least one guy who wins LOTS of contests from Ascension Island and he signs his call after every Q. Maybe people could learn something from that.

- Steve's suggestion makes perfect sense to me. I still remember when I was in Haiti and had to wait 10 minutes to hear a callsign of a (world known) station running huge pile up during the CQWW Phone

- Contest etiquette? YOu guys are being unrealistic! Kelly has it right! The DX is managing his pileup. And it may be unfair. It may waste your time and lower your QSO rate but it works for the DX. And

- Failing top ID frequently is definitely NOT a DX thing. It is solely operator style who is both inconsiderate and self-centred, and as VK9XD, I repeatedly hounded one station for his callsign knowing

- IMHO, that sounds very defeatist, Art. unfair. It may waste contest. That's almost like saying if you're on one football team and "Moon" the crowd, you get fined...but if you're on the other team, y
