Hey gang, What are you Ft-1000mp Mark V guys using for audio settings with the Heil HC-4? I have the mic gain set at 9:00, & the compressor at abt the same, but it seems a little tight. The ALC meter

First thing you got to do is get into the menu and make sure the EDSP TX Audio is OFF (Menu 4-4). Then you can spend hours playing with the 7-7 Menu trying to get the audio to sound to your liking. T

Try These Settings...Made a world of difference for me on my 3 FT1000 - Mrk V's... Set menu 8-9 to the following values: r-LsbcAr -0.200 t-LsbcAr -0.100 Proc-Lsb -0.100 r-uSbcAr -0.200 t-uSbcAr -0.10

I think it's important to consider that everyone has a different voice "fingerprint" What works for one guy will not for another. I think the consensus is for the mic to be around 9 and the processor
