The other side of this coin is what the running station sends. One can argue that it would be equally if not more helpful if the running station acknowledgement were W1QQQ TU W3YYY SS instead of just

I vote yes. Of course, this procedure is SOP in the Sprint contests and really does give you confidence that the other guy is actually working you and not someone inside your skip zone. Good idea. 73
