- Peoples lives are too busy these days. If contests put a max of 12 hours (or some combination of required rest resulting in a max of 12) for SO, more would feel like competing instead of just jumping

- Why impose a time limit? My favorite contest is SS, but I absolutely HATE the mandatory 6 hours rest imposed. Having said that, what's wrong with having a lot of folks who just "jump in" for a few Q'
