analysis IMHO, a suffix that is repetitive in nature (like "MM") or a familiar sounding phrase or abbreviation (dare I suggest "HI") might make for the ultimate contest cw contest call. I'm not sure

I agree with Phil (K9HI). I think MM as a suffix is great. XX is decent on CW as well......you get a dash on the beginning and end of each suffix character. All dits, even though it produces a shorte

You mentioned the call TU5NN? Well, you should meet Linda from Oklahoma. Before she upgraded, her call was N5DWN. After she upgraded, they gave her the call AA5NN. You may hear her in the pile-up's.
