Presuming that his radio functions properly, it should work on the TS-850 setting, or most any of the Kenwoods. Does it work with other software? I have a friend that wants to use his TS-450 with CT.

The thinkpad 600 has a config utility (Thinkpad Configuration) which allows setting this from within windows. It does default to bi-directional, so John is probably on target with his suggestion. -W5

Dennis, Use a shortcut to start up CTWIN. The only place you should make changes is in the shortcut file. Right click on CTWIN.EXE and click Create Shortcut. This will create "Shortcut to ctwin.exe".

One other thing: You also may be able to run full screen by selecting the Options Tab in the shortcut, and selecting Full screen under Display options. This will make it look like the old full screen

I just installed CTWIN on my IBM 600E laptop running XP Pro, and the process I outlined below works perfectly. Even so, doing Alt-Enter does not make the display full screen, instead the 50 line VGA
