- Hello, I've poked around in the CT archives but can't seem to find an answer to my problem. I just got a new computer (450 MHz PII with Windows 98) and the printer is connected -- all works fine. The

- Print is a DOS command (actually uses PRINT.EXE). If you copy this file to your new machine that should work. You also should be able to use the 'built-in' DOS COPY command (COPY FILENAME LPT1:). You

- However, while Dan is absolutely right, some versions of PRINT.EXE are DOS-version specific; if the DOS version doesn't match (& for Win 98 it's DOS 7.1... even tho the date stamps don't match Win 95
