My reasoning for going Flashrom is that I am competing heavily with Cable Modems and so I need to deliver as much speed as possible. Throttling will be turned off completely and handled at the NOC. I

I am not sure I follow you? With radius authentication, you just use the mac address as the username and the access phrase as the password...they won't see any box pop up unless I am missing somethin
