I really haven't seen problems with power over Ethernet yet with carnet devices. We had to replace about 30 YDI etherant's last year due to lightning. All problem customers have since then purchased

Why don't you try the BWR-1000's from MapleNet? They work very well, have a external N-male connector, and are based on the KN-50 (which so far I'm pretty happy with). Norm __________________________
