- I have an Orion 565 with firmware 3.032x5. When I select mode UCW or LCW the txcvr immediately goes into tx and transmits a continuous carrier and locks in this mode until I change back to USB or LSB

- Yup. Somewhere in a thread I saw that a ham in the US found that his key socket on the back of the unit was shorting. Maybe I have the same problem. Never come across a socket shorting out before ( b

- Hi Barry, yes, I've done the fix on that one at the same time as I replaced the display, and the battery. Dick ZS6BUN Dick, are you saying the RIT/XIT knobs won't change the value unless you push in
