- My Alpha 99 works just great wired to the keying loop just like a Ten-Tec amp would be wired. Then again, the 87A is PIN-diode switched, while the 99 is vacuum relay switched. 73, Duane Duane Calvin,

- No, you don't need a Y-cable. The Y-cable is necessary with the Omni V/VI because there's no alternative to the TX OUT/TX ENA keying loop for keying a QSK amp. In contrast, the Orion has two plain-ol
