I have an APC S5 1500 that sets about 5 feet from the HF rig and is about 20 feet from the bottom end of the 160 meter antenna. I never hear it, nor do I bother it. I'm not sure of the model numbers

That really opens you up for liability. If power fails the power company/utility is not responsible even if they are. You OTOH turn off a switch and you do become liable. Up here...it's currently -1F
