I own two DigiKeyer II's and a DigiKeyer and they work well on CW and RTTY. This product is designed for digital modes, I have no idea how you are using on SSB. You should have purchased a MicroKeyer

Actually I have used a DigiKeyer on SSB from P40A, but only to interface the radio's frequency data to my laptop. The device works fine as a COM to USB converter for band data. The mic was connected

I had a very similar situation when I had my 160' tower loaded with ring rotators near Chicago. It had a homebrew 80m rotating dipole on top and I heard a mix of local broadcast stations on this band

I had a similar problem with a 80m rotating dipole on a 160' Rohn 65G tower when I lived in the Chicago area, although mine was pretty consistent. Moving it 650 miles away solved my problem. John KK9

It is likely that the majority of the problem is feedline radiation. I would work on that first. What performance advantage does an OCF have over a center fed 1/2 dipole or multiple dipoles in a fan?
