- For the past 3 weeks I was troubled by severe RFI on 80 and 40 meters. It was a pulsation type noise the first pulse would last 5 sec than a 5 sec delay, followed by two rapid pulses 3 sec long back

- Yes his radio was indeed the ole GE superradio. I have owned one of these in the past and yes they are quite sensitive units really pick up the power line noise. Ken W8OB ____________________________

- BTW, does anyone know why we've yet to hear reports (good or bad) from hams that live in (or near) BPL test areas? You would think there would be at least 1 HF-active ham in one of the existing areas
