- Hi Dale et al -- and thanks for your responses! As I told k8fc who responded privately, new data shows that twice in one week, the noise disappeared completely at some time between 2200-2300 hrs. I j

- An MFJ Noise Canceller or equivalent is much cheaper than a lawsuit (read Dickens' Bleak House), and will most likely cure your problem -- it did (and does) here. Jerome - VA7VV _____________________

- Right on Pete... I use a 24ft vertical fed with ladder line working against a 100ft of chain link fence, with it's own tuner as the noise antenna. The mfj brings an S9 grinding noise level on 40 down

- @Jim Brown.. What you say is of course true -- you can only kill one at a time. That said, you can often times choose your target, by adjusting the phasing. Getting rid of the most offensive noise so
