Thanks to everyone that has replyed to my first posting with help, I am not currently using a balun on the quad, so i will make one today and see if this makes any difference. The noise seems to be a

Thanks again to everyone for the great response to my plea for help, Today i made a very simple choke balun, used the biggest ferrite ring i had, and could just about squeze 3 turns of coax through.
