28650-29000 at various times? I certainly did. A very broad, and loud, digital-sounding signal. My first guess was some sort of over the horizon radar system. Does anyone have any information? If it

My observation from North GA Centered about 28.600 and 100KHz wide. At one point it was 500KHz wide. It consisted of hundreds of individual carriers. Three seconds on at spacing of 850 Hz, one second

IARU Intruder Watch usually lists information about this signal. I believe it's regarded as an Iranian OTHR.  IW has a pretty dedicated bunch of observers around the globe. It's interesting to see th

It could be a OTH Radar. Check out 'Ghadir' OTH Radar: <https://www.sigidwiki.com/wiki/Category:HF> Mike N2MS _______________________________________________ RFI mailing list RFI@contesting.com http:

OK, good to hear it wasn't local to me here.  It looked like a picket fence on my spectrum display, and I was glad when it stopped. 73, Pete N4ZR On 3/6/2023 10:47 AM, nm8rmedic via RFI wrote: IARU I

During the last Solar Cycle, 24, this was a common occurrence during daytime hours when the MUF was above 30 MHz. It's from the PacRim. Dave - WØLEV -- *Dave - WØLEV* ________________________________

I still hear two wideband signals here. See attached. It will be interesting to see if the signals go down in strength like those of the European Hams as that part of the world enters dusk. Mike N2MS

Mike, to determine the MUF and the fof2 altitude, consult the closest ionogram to your QTH or better yet, that ionogram which is nearest midpoint. These can be found at: https://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/stp

I had a nice run on Saturday on 28605. Just an alternating, modulated, beep-beep, and never above S3. Also very fluttery here in NM. Maybe Russian arctic area ? 73, Steve, N2IC ______________________

I saw/heard something like that, with spacing of about 10 kHz. I had the same thought about it being local. 73, Scott K9MA 73, Pete N4ZR On 3/6/2023 10:47 AM, nm8rmedic via RFI wrote: IARU Intruder W
