Hi folks, I recently discovered my HF transmissions have been getting into my phone answering machine. I asked one of my neighbors and he told me he could hear me on his phone but it wasn't that big

Don'[t even know what they are. But I do recommend wrapping the phone line a as many turns as you can through one of the 2.4" diameter toroids commonly used as a 1:1 balun at the input of antenna tun

Be sure to obtain maximum attenuation at hf freqs., use type 77 or equivalent ferrite material cores. Lots of type 43 out there, but it isn't very effective in hf band. Cliff N7HIY Also see online rf
