Joe, I'd suggest that it probably is power line noise, though it isn't as "consistent" or as "smooth" of a buzz as what I normally hear. Hints at finding and fixing power line noise can be found at w

Yea, it's probably arcing but it could be anything from loose line hardware on a pole to a bad doorbell xformer. Sounds like 120Hz so rectified AC. In the end, it's almost always a RFDF session with
