I have an APC S5 1500 that sets about 5 feet from the HF rig and is about 20 feet from the bottom end of the 160 meter antenna. I never hear it, nor do I bother it. I'm not sure of the model numbers

I hate that back in 81-83 when i was under contract with APC ,,,introducing a 1 piece product line to distributors ( before it shipped) .... APC quickly dropped the term SBS for "stand by power" and
