- Thanks all for your replies, I answered each one and appreciate the input. I will probably give the Xfinity X1 system a try and see how it goes, I can always go back to the standard system if it does

- Roger: We have Charter -- with a plan that "guarantees" 18Mbps down and often far exceeds it, but still offers only 4Mbps up and usually exceeds it by just a smidgen. I see Charter advertising only 6
