I think I may have finally isolated a source (THE source?!!?!?) of my local interference.....a capacitor bank about 4/10 mile away...pegs the meter on the MFJ power line device, sounds like my noise

Jamie, All of the below! Many reasons, but when you are dealing with 7200 or 14,400 volts and a whole lot of amps, doesn't take much to cause noise. Another common cause is very simply the clips that
