One of the rtty-contesting readers sent an offline note indicating I was making it more difficult for other RTTY operators to decode my AFSK LSB 2000 Hz /170 shift vs. the standard 2125 Hz /170 shift

I was calling CQ Sunday AM and a KD6 responded but he was not on my receive frequency. I tuned to him then he retuned to me. He was using MMTTY and I was using cocoaModem and we were both using AFSK

I do not understand the VOLTA RTTY scoring and could use some help. As a US W5 station, if I work W6WRT on 20 meters, I would get 1 QSO, 1 QSO Point and 1 Multiplier assuming he is the first W6 work.

My pet peeve in the CQ-WW-RTTY contest was RUN stations that would call CQ and rather responding with the normal ³HISCALL 599 03 CA HISCALL² or ³599 03 CA HISCALL² they would respond with ³599 03 CA²

Peter N5UWY, I heard (or watched) Coy N5OK work them on 20 Meter RTTY and there was nice pipeline to OK and TX. Several of us from the Austin area worked K4M about the same time. My log show 1351z.
