Is it possible to adjust the sidetone level for rtty on the Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark-V? There is an adjustment for cw sidetone level on the back of the unit. I was wondering if this has any effect on the

Yes but the monitor level function only works for voice mode, it has no effect on cw or rtty sidetone levels. Until I discovered that there is indeed a sidetone level adjustment for cw, I assumed tha

I stand red faced and corrected. I had never used the monitor function for cw or rtty. When I engaged the monitor function and adjusted the pot, I'll be darned if it didn't work as advertised. Enjoy
