Yeah, this happened to me in the spring. The IC725 is a FB rig, but after a few contests (350 Qs in WPX!), I decided I wanted filters. Since there's no FSK mode on the 725, that meant a kludge ... on

Yes, let's hope! I was barely able to print him at about 0300 today on 20 m. Called him, but no answer. Glad he's active as I missed the 3B9C crew. -- 73, Peter Laws N5UWY/9 Looking for MT on RTTY __

Went to look at PCI serial cards and was shocked to see that they want upwards of $50 for one! All I want is a dual serial PCI card - don't even need the parallel port. Ideas? -- 73, Peter Laws N5UWY

One day, while reading the mail on 20 m, I heard MS-Windows sounds and thought it was my MS-Windows laptop ... until I heard a synthesised DX spot. The audio was coming over the radio! I realized tha

Pick a day, time, and freq and I'll try to be there. I'd like feedback (!) on my signal as well. We could have a regular net! :-) -- 73, Peter Laws N5UWY/9 WAC (phone) WAS #51466 (SSB) Looking for MT

IC-7400 (UK/EU) == IC-746Pro (NA), IIRC. I run mine at full power and haven't had any issues. But then I'm mostly an S&P operator and don't get much opportunities to run. -- 73, Peter Laws N5UWY/9 WA

Is it still an image if it's a JPG file sent by packet??? I thought the *whole point* of this exercise (going to bandwidth-based sub-bands instead of mode-based) was to get rid of these distinctions?
