Hi all, I am passing this info on from the 3B7C team, and the info comes from Don G3BJ, who was one of the RTTY ops at 3B7C. I am sure most of you will already appreciate all the points made, but the

Thanks for passing that along, Phil. It makes a lot of sense. But will people take the advise? Some will, most won't. There will always be those who have to make those "insurance" contacts, thus blow

Thanks for posting this, Phil. Great info there, especially the advice not to call on the last station's frequency. I wish ALL DXPeditions would adhere to that. One comment I would make to the DX how

Full ACK to all of that. But sometimes during the CQWW RTTY I even asked US stations to spell out their state. Two times "florida florida" or "minnessota minnessota" was much easier to decode than FL

Ekki is wise. When asked for a state fill, I often send it as "OR OR OREGON". "OR OR" is too fraught with problems of aliasing into another state's abbreviation (four states and one territory), espec

But with the same length transmission, he could have sent "MN MN MN MN MN MN", or "FL FL FL FL FL". I would MUCH prefer 5 or 6 repeats like this. I really don't think you want me to take the time to
