Just upgraded my radio from a Kenwood TS-430 to a Yeasu FT-1000MP MarkV and wondered if the AEA PK232 would work on the new rig for RTTY, PSK31, and other digital modes, or, should I put that back on

I would think all you have to do is split the audio from the radio; send one leg to the soundcard and one leg to the PK232 audio input. 73, Don AA5AU http://www.aa5au.com http://www.rttycontesting.co

The 232 also has scope outputs, so you can have a better, quicker tuning indicator than the LEDs. 73 - John, WA9ALS _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.c

Steve, MK2R+ gets its digital mode audio from the ACCC1 jack. Other than simply feeding the PK232 from the speaker or pin 8 of the mic jack, the only way to pick up audio is to build an 8-pin DIN "Y"

If you can use hyperterm then the pk-232 is not in kiss mode. You need several commands to get KISS to turn on. Here is the exact command sequence that will get an AEA PK-232 or PK-87 into KISS mode:
