Thanks, Patrick, for the tip. This was my first RTTY contest and it happened to me. An HB0 sent me a "QSO BR". I didn't know how to respond, so I didn't. You are absolutely right, the station wasn't

Many stations seem to have me in their logs as N5UW or N9UWY/9 no matter how many times I re-rend the call, so don't feel *too* bad. :-) A write-up in NCJ about working dupes would be a good start, b

We will be able to survive without that one QSO... I usually just work a dupe and let the software do the rest. When you called I was at the station and was a little bit surprised that the owner of t

Along with the other comments which say, "work them", I'd like to add one more. I always consider the possibility that "I" screwed up, and didn't enter the correct call in the first place. Better to

Can someone please explain how the mighty Cabrillo can figure out which of two QSOs with another station is the one to discard? Just trusting Cabrillo to get it right is like trusting CBS. I worked K

Mike, I'm with you. I generally respond with QSO B4 and then manually give the time of the Q. Most usually accept that and when I'm on the other end of that exchange can usually determine what I did

I'm not so sure of your "MANUALLY entering callsigns" statement. There were a number of occasions where WriteLog (RTTYRITE) did not pick up the /? after a call and I had to manually input it. But I'm

Why Do it? One reason is that if you don't log the correct suffix the LOTW will bomb out the QSO and it will not match up! Having just processed 1000 QSL cards from previous IOTA DXpeditions I would
