- Anyone, This old dog is trying to learn new tricks. What modulation are the signal(s) that generally are around 14.080? It sounds to me as if it where a rtty signal, that is I only hear several tones

- It's MFSK. There are a few programs around dedicated to it and MixW that offers it among others like PSK, etc. Occasionally you might hear THROB up there too, which has more of a warble to it. 73 - S

- You're hearing MFSK16 (Multi-Frequency Shift Keying)I'm sure with an actual text-throughput of about 31.25bps. I did some experiments with a fellow in Australia on 20m running RTTY, PSK31, and MFSK.

- Scott, et al, It is not MFSK16. I have a decoder for that which I sometimes use. You can hear the shifting tones in MFSK16 and see the tones moving around on the MMTTY display. I don't know what BPSK
