I am a first time user of SD and I have downloaded V14.14. CW sounds OK with sidetone ON, but with sidetone OFF the CW to the rig is VERY slow (max about 20 wpm when the speed is set to max [70 wpm])

Hi Brian. I just got this evening that as a first time SD user. My old software used pin 7 of the 9 pin serial connector to key the rig. When I moved it over to pin 4 it worked OK, but very very slow

Thanks Alex, but it didn't work. CW is OK with sidetone ON, but very very slow with sidetone OFF. PRIORITY and CALIBRATE don't have any effect. Danny, G3XVR __________________________________________

Hi Paul. SD_CALWIN is about 8000 or 9000. If I edit it down to about 2000 with notepad, save the settings then restart SD the CW is still extremely poor with sidetone OFF but OK with sidetone ON. It
