I am also experiencing the same, using SDX program. Frequency is read and displayed, but the band only sometimes are changed according to read frequency. I am running my IC756PRO2 with 9600bps 8N2 73

I've updated both SD and SDX to make band changes, and their display, more reliable - when rig control is enabled. Please try the updated versions of SD and/or SDX V13.10A from www.ei5di.com/sd/sdexe

Thanks Paul, this works fine...on SDX where WARC is normal to use. Unfotunatelky something does not work correctly in SD. When I switch from 80M to 40M, the frequency of 40m displays ok, but it still
