Thanks - I tried your suggestion but TRLog still logs "G" instead of "14" I don't imagine I'll work so much DX that it will be overwhelming to edit t he log post contest to reinsert zone numbers, but

TRLog 6.78 reads both Orions ok. TRlog 6.91 seems to only read my right Orion, not the left Orion. TRLog 6.93 reads neither Orion! Only the exe and ovr files are different between the three folders.

TR6.96 does not seem to work with TenTec Orions - (had the same problem with 6.93) still using 6.78 which seems to be the last version which recognizes Orion and does parallel port band control. Terr

OK, I got 6.96 to read my Orions now 6.78 does not require the USE IRQS = TRUE command but apparently 6.96 requires this Both parallel ports follow their respective radios. Terry Zivney, N4TZ/9 _____

Although the parallel ports now give band data in 6.96, unfortunately, the band data does not appear to be sent unless the radio is ACTIVE. TR reads the frequency of the INACTIVE radio promptly, but

Also, both 6.96 and 7.00 read the radio (Orion) less frequently than does 6.78 - same logcfg.dat file used for all programs. That may be a "clew" about the behavior - 6.96 and 7.00 seem to wait an et

I had sent recently a message to the HDXCC Yahoo group with the CFG and DOM files for the INQP/7QP/NEQP. You choose for example the 7QP party in the TR4W contest setup to create a 7QP folder; rename
