I just tried to create a cabrillo file with 6.72 and got a message that it could not open the file. I can open it with my text editor and it looks OK. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Cal
I need to build a cable to sent CW only, without an amplifier. I don't think I need the PTT out cable for this. In the TR manual it says that some radio interfaces may require jumper for DB-9 serial:
I am trying to send cw via the PC and TR for the first time. No luck so far. Radio is Knwd 570 and PC runs W98. I run TR in a DOS window from the MSDOS prompt in W98. My config file is: MY CALL = N9K
Thanks to everyone who responded. there were 2 problems. 1) The collector and base were touching in my cable. 2) It works only if I reboot W98 in DOS mode, not with a MSDOS window within W98.
I have been using TR for about a year. Seems like there are several = contest (RTTY) that I have participated in and these are not supported. = I read (skimmed) the manual about the various commands
I have the same setup with an old IBM laptop. Colors come in fine. I just answer yes to the contest startup question about what kind of monitor I have. -- Original Message -- From: Alan Kaul <alan.ka

I have been using TR log for about a year. I would like to find a general purpose logging program that will track QSOs for WAS, DXCC, IOTA, WAZ etc. for 5 bands and individual modes. Does anyone know
I just started entering my info into TR Log v.6.56. After about 10 entries I noticed that my QSO's are being multiplied by the sections that I worked. Not allowed by ARRL. Can anyone help me correct
All my DIG QSOs that I entered were converted to CW when I created the Cabrillo file. How can I fix this? I do not want to create paper logs. Thanks Cal N9KO -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/
About a year ago I saw a description of using MMTTY on a second computer and TRlog on the main computer. I would like to try this. I need the cabling setup / pinouts. No one over at the MMTTY group c
