- Mike, If you are using a straight DOS machine try adding / changing the following settings in CONFIG.SYS BUFFERS=40 FILES=50 STACKS=18,512 The STACKS line is most important. Good luck. 73, Grant N4GM

- Rod, Thanks for the description on "STACKS". I have had some more time to play with this and this is what I found. 1. Remove BUFFERS=40 from CONFIG.SYS...no lockup 2. Remove FILES=50 from CONFIG.SYS.
