Thanks for the response ... I ave got the band change down to 1 second. I moved the rig to COM2 (where it is by itself). The SHIFT to change VFO still doesn't work -- very slow and not useful. -- Mar

Thanks to Doug, W9WI, I believe I have identified the IF-10B interface in my TS-940. I looked beneath the speaker/control enclosure, opened the next shielded enclosure, and found the Digital Unit X54
