This happened to me several times too. (but I always erased it before trying to log the QSO so never found out what would happen if you didn't try) It's because you have INITIAL EXCHANGE set to QTH;

In case anyone cares... TR 6.28 *will* run under DOSEMU under Linux 2.0.34. So will POST. I wouldn't try sending CW though - it sends OK about 75% of the time, and QSD about 25%. Definitely don't try

I had a chance to test W9CF's suggestions. CW is acceptable (not perfect, but usable) if one runs TR SLOW. I haven't hooked up a hardware interface to test whether setting the CW tone to zero helps.

Same glitch here. I don't see any correlation to any specific prefix -- I've only worked one VK, and his call came up properly. Running version 6.26. Not too serious - a tad unnerving the first time
