N5KO is here doing the SS and he is not seeing this or as least not often enough to say it does this. He said he might have seen alt-d get in some "confused state" but it could just be Trey's confuse

I used alt-d extensively during the SS--CQ on radio1 and s&p on radio2; being QRP, the S&P radio was the more active radio. :-) What I noticed was that if I tried to do an Alt-D near the end of a CQ

No such problem here after heavy Alt-D use this weekend. I did manage twice (or maybe three times) to get it into the "confused state" mentioned by N5KO. Not sure if the confusion was on the part of

Having looked at the problem out of the heat of the battle, I cannot verify that the CQ on the run radio was being stopped by Alt D. However Dales's comment above is pertinent. What happens is that
