In testing ver 668 for Field day I noticed that if the class exchange is 4 characters, such as 32AB, TR will not log the contact until one of the numbers or letters is dropped. Has anyone else noted

What is class AB ?? Unless there is something new, a four char class is not valid. exchange is 4 the the only

I do not think that the Class sent as a part of the exchange is supposed to include a designator for 'battery'. The QST listings do of course. I have been a part of 'battery' entries for at least fiv

But if memory serves, and I could be wrong, A Battery is a reporting category, not part of the exchange. For the exchange they would report 1 (or whatever) A. The B doesn't come into play until they
