Since you are trying to do this on a laptop you should look at these PCMCIA cards. http://www.socketcom.com/rdiomp.htm There are cards you can get that will do two serial ports. -- George Fremin III

Folks, This is a repost from back in June. We used four of them with fine success. I found a PCMCIA serial card which adds a single COM port to a laptop for only $40! Works FB under DOS or Gatesware.
