- Contesters, I am going SO2R and intend to buy a commercial controller. Please give me your recommendations for WX0B and Top Ten boxes. Main radio is Omni 6+, second radio is FT 990. Software is TRLog

- Well, my overwhelming recommendation goes to WX0B boxes. Expertly designed, trouble free operation, nothing but high quality throughout. Once it's set, it works, all the time, every time. His SO2R Ma

- OK, So, can someone now tell me how to cue up the S&P radio so that it's ready to run? I can't figure out how to make the second radio ready to go without switching with Alt-R, or is that what you ha

- Seems to me if TWO RADIO MODE = TRUE, it would make more sense to display the bandmap for the inactive (S&P) radio ??? Personally, I don't much care about the bandmap on the run radio. But I do care

- Howie, I wondered about this also but by setting "BAND MAP ALL BANDS = TRUE" then the 2nd radio's band map is shown. You can also turn off the CQ's frequency showing on the main radio (I forget the e

- Well, perhaps just the way I am looking at it, but it seems like the documented setup for SO2R is not logical. Why would the SO2R want to do an ALT-D everytime he hears a new station on the S&P radio

- Yes, the bandmap behavior is a bit different now. I'm pretty sure that in the past, simply moving the dial of the S&P (inactive) radio would cause the band map for that band to appear. Now, you must
