I suppose the new proposed scheme will help those who put all of their contest files into c:\log, but I wouldn't recommend doing that anyways. I've seen folks put everything in c:\log, then notice th

I have here the similar structure and do prefer keep program files separate from the data files. Then doing upgrade to the next version is much easier and all the files are easy to find and sort. Jus

Hello fellow contesters, This is the same way I do it, only I dont use the directory with the year name: c:\log exe c:\log\pacc.98 for log.dat en logcfg.dat c:\log\cqww.98 c:\log\iaru.99 etc........

This is basically the scheme I use, and I've found it to work extremely well. I have the C:\log, with all the TR files, .dom files, .dta's, and all that stuff, then C:\log\general for my general day
