Thank to all of you for useful suggestions. Have installed the suggested Utility. I should have also mentioned that when using TR4W, data does pass from the rig to the computer. However, I prefer to

I never did get my serial ports to work with FreeDOS and TRLog, despite having the DOS driver from the serial port chip manufacturer. Finally gave up and moved to a 21st century logging program. The

From withing DOS, PS2 utililty says COM1: DISABLED Anybody know how to "enable?" from withing DOS? From within XP, systems says COM1 is enable, and working. Tried running TRLog in dos window. It load

I use MS-DOS 6.22--not FreeDOS--on my logging machine, so I can only make a general suggestion: I suggest that you check FreeDOS help for the MODE command, which is what MS-DOS uses to configure port
