I just tried out the Auto-CQ (ALT + Q) function, but each time it repeats, the WPM speed also increases. Here are my config lines: CQ MEMORY F1 = CQTEST \ \ TEST CQ MEMORY F2 = CQ CQ TEST \ \

It's the RUFZ add-on module. It continues speeding up until you botch a callsign. Very ingenious. Mark, N5OT _______________________________________________ Trlog mailing list Trlog@contesting.com h

Hi Eric, I presume the little square boxes are control characters for speeding up and slowing down. Could you tell us which control characters these are? 73 de Jim Smith VE7FO Eric Hilding wrote: I j

You need to balance each ^F with a ^S, so that they cancel each other out before the message is repeated. -Kirk K4RO _______________________________________________ Trlog mailing list Trlog@contestin

It will not help. It is a "feature" wich I have reported to Tree several years ago. Anyway it is not important. The work around is dedicated message without speed up and speed down. I keep it in Ctrl

I have found the same problem, even with the same number of ^F and ^S so I have given up trying to change the speed of parts of the message. If any of you are able to use this speed change technique

There is...I think where most folks get in trouble on this is if they interrupt the message before the ^S command gets executed, either by hitting escape or typing in a call. It takes a little time f

Tree, I think the problem is not with how or when ^F or ^S is executed, but rather that during escaping from CQ-parrot mode the program sneaks around some cleanup. Make CQ MEMORY F7 = ^F^F^F^F^F^F N
