I'm a using version 6.72. Running TR READ, I received the above message. The runtime error code table, says 158 is "Sector Not Found". Does it mean a hardware problem in the hard disk ? I wonder what

Does this happen all of the time? It could be that the file you are reading from is corrupted. Are you maybe trying to read and write the same file? You might also try turning off a disk cache if you
