- Here's one to ponder. I operated CW Sprint at K4HA's, and I had mucho keying problems. He has a FT-1000MP & Drake L7 (I think, it's 2 X 3-500Z). Antennas are a Pro57 at 80 ft & inverted vees for 40M

- My 2 cents, and I hasten to add that this is definitely not my strong suit, if I even have one: I built the simple interface for keying LPT1; it's basically the same in the TR manual, brand "C", man

- I can vote to say I've seen the same effect. Ran TR in IOTA from our club shack as M6T - huge problems with RF - half power and less on most bands. Ran CT in CQWW CW and no problem with everything fu

- Kevin is correct. I would suggest putting some filtering on the keying lines if you have problems with RF - a few turns around a torriod should fix you up - or figure out how to get the rf out of you
