- actually you are both right, and wrong. According to Kurt Sterba, , it does tune the ANTENNA SYSTEM by matching the antenna to the radio. so no, it does not tune the antenna, but yes it tunes the ant

- try rolling your own with some 14 gauge copperweld and some homebrew spreaders, the wider the space the better, I saw a set where the guy ran a pair about 3 fee apart supported on posts with pvc T's

- The intermittent character of the problem suggests bad contacts in the bayonet bases. Replacing the incandescent bulbs with LEDs would not fix this, although the lower heat produced by by LEDs versus

- OK...I have the recieve working now thanks to Don AA5AU instructions. But I still can't get MMTTY to key the Orion II. Any ideas? did you go into Menus/ ssb and turn the tx audio source to AUX or bot
