for in I would map the DB 25 pins to the corresponding pins. You are only talking about 3 wires. Do not connect all of the wires to the radio! It uses them for its own purposes. Look in the manual.

You really do not want to do that. Take a look at fIGURE 5-10a ON PAGE 5-9. Note that only pins 1,2,3 and 7 areused. here is a good reason for that. Look at paragraph 6-24and table 6-1 on page 6-99.

Don't get hung up on connector type etc. For a 3 wre hookup, you need ground to ground, XDon one end to Rdata onthe other end. Look at the diagram on p5-9 fig 5-10B. could

Just got big O about a month ago Using a logi keyer. have used the Send memory in one contest just to send my call and see how it worked. Have not plugged key directly into front panel yet.
